Presented at the 14th edition of Lo schermo dell'arte, 2021 Film produced thanks to the crowdfunding campaign Artists' FIlm Italia Recovery Fund The Pornographer is a film that was born within the Berlin post-porno scene thanks to the colaboration with director Emy Fem, sexworker and trans-feminist activist, who for years has dedicated herself to the creation of films, documentaries and performances aimed at the naturalization of sexuality and defense of the rights of sex workers. The Pornographer enters the sets of her latest creation Oily Fingers post-porno DIY (Do It Yourself Porn), shot between Dresden and Leipzig, in which the artist collaborated as the first camera. The work reflects the emotional state of the artist, trapped between a dimension of seduction and deep disorientation in front of a tangle of bodies with fluid and indefinite sexuality. Their explicit physicality, which calls into question the canons and roles imposed by mainstream pornography, becomes an invitation to confront our limits by welcoming the value of diversity.
