A fragment of Winnie the Pooh, in which Piglet slams against Uffa the owl’s window, waking him, is edited with clips of 16mm film in different shades of red. Some graphic signs drawn on the optical sound band generate noises that mix with the two characters’ noises. The video was conceived as a loop in which Gufo is continually woken up when Piglet crashes into his house.
Diego Marcon (1985, Busto Arsizio, lives and works in Milan). Two solo shows are currently in progress at Centro Pecci, Prato (2023/24) and Kunsthalle Basel, Basel (2023/24).
