Minutiae are “little things”. Here are ten. These 10 little things form a small exhibition exalting the cinema.
Peter Miller (Stati Uniti, 1978). Based in Paris and Berlin, he received his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His film works generally investigate the phenomena of the cinema and its constituent, irreducible elements: lens light, flicker etc. He received a Fulbright Fellowship to work with Peter Tscherkassky in Vienna and a Hayward Prize to work with Valie Export in Salzburg, Austria. After that he was awarded a DAAD Fellowship and KHM Fellowship to work with Mathias Müller and Phil Collins in Cologne, Germany. Recently he has been a participant of Le Pavillon at the Palais de Tokyo and has worked with Ange Leccia in Paris, France. His films have been shown at numerous film festivals, including the London IFF, Toronto IFF, Rotterdam IFF, IDFA, Media City and at the Centre Pompidou. His artworks have also been shown in numerous group and solo shows including the Palais de Tokyo and Le Bal, in Paris and Volker Bradke and the Bundeskunsthalle Bonn, in Germany.

Peter Miller was awarded with the ‘CECCHI Scholarship’ offered by Cecchi, wine producers in Italy since 1893.
