Salita all’Olimpo

The video, winner of the MAXXI Prize in 2016, has been realised during a performance by Zapruder at the Santarcangelo Festival. An unreleased version of the traditional greasy pole in which two teams of climbers are engaged in a race to conquer the top of a 15 metres high pole covered in engine grease, accompanied by the live music of the metal band Zeus!. Salita all’Olimpo is the last episode of Zapruder’s film cycle dedicated to the myth of Hercules.
