The film is the result of the collaboration between the Italian artist duo Invernomuto and electronic music composer Philippe Hallais, known as Low Jack, filmed in Martinique between land and sea, in the heart of the mangrove tropical forest. Moving through the marshy landscapes, dancer and choreographer Rayna, a leading figure in the dancehall movement of the French West Indies, performs in a loop an extreme dance movement, the “head top”. In an inverted posture and balancing on the top of her head, her stiff body falls to the ground, establishing a form of dialogue with the surrounding natural elements. The voiceover, personified by musicians Bamao Yendé and Le Diouck, unfolds like a stream of consciousness, recounting a story that invokes a lost loved one.
