La camera |
Film presented at Lo schermo dell'arte 2018 Shot in Rome’s EUR suburb, in a set built like a room with a sort of stage in it, on which two actors, Filippo Timi and Anastasia Astolfi, perform. Through headphones, they listen to television stories and the memories of people from the artist’s generation. The actors repeat the phrases transmitted by the voices, copying accents, tones, cadences and emotions. The male actor also re-enacts a series of newsreels from the LUCE archives, at Cinecittà in Rome, from the 40s to the 60s, about the advent of the television set in Italian homes. Rä di Martino
